Principal's Message

Dear Benicia High School Community,

Welcome to the 2011-12 school year.  Considering the impact the State of California’s budget has had on schools statewide, the Benicia Unified School District has weathered the storm as well as possible.  We have a wide range of academic courses, as well as music, career technical education, fine arts, culinary arts, activities, and athletics, to name just a few.

At Benicia High School we choose to focus on what we do have, rather than on what we don’t have, as our goal is to provide the best possible education to our students so they are competitive in the world tomorrow.  I encourage each one of you to please stay in contact with the school by visiting our school website, e-mailing teachers when necessary, and by accessing your Power School account to access attendance and grade records.  Please get involved in your student’s education.  You can do so by attending all regularly scheduled conferences, back to school night, open house, athletic events, and co-curricular activities.  Encourage your child to get involved in something as we do offer a wide variety of clubs and team sports.  The more they are involved, the better prepared they will be for their own futures.

As always – GO PANTHERS!!!
